And yet more problems posting...fun...

I now have an extremely easy way to update my blog, so hopefully I'll be able to update a lot more often. Then again, I suppose posting more than once a month would be a lot more often.

So I watched last weeks episode of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer in syndication, and it was probably one of the most powerful episodes I've seen of any series. I'm not sure what it was called, but it was the one where Buffy's mom, Joyce, died. She died peacefully at that, which is pretty unusualy for this series. Anyway, I don't think there was any background music at all in the episode, which made it all the more powerful. All you see is the actions and the feelings, the raw emotions. Normally, music is what sets the mood, but in this eppy, no music was necessary.

Well, my brother is on a "lets start a band" craze right now. They have dismantled the pool table in the back room (much to my disagreement) and there is now a drumset and about 4 guitars back there, along with a stack of amps. Believe me, it's loud, it's annoying, and I am on the other side of the house.

Well, for anyone that cares to know, Anna Belle is fine. Anna Belle...my dog...the Beagle, not the big dumb one. She had been looking really tired and acting really lazy. She wasn't eating or drinking much, and she just acted like her whole body was hurting. She had 75% kidney failure. We were lucky, as it showed up in her bloodwork over a week ago (vet said it won't show up in blood work until it reaches 75%). They kept her from Thursday to Monday with an IV pumping fluids into her.

Now that we read about the symptoms, we realize that we noticed some of them, so we're glad we took her.

She's doing fine, she is still not wanting to eat or drink much though, so we are trying to make her drink a lot (since that will keep her from getting worse).

I'm now a week away from Big Stuf. Definitely one of the best weeks in a year. Thanks to Audblog, I'm going to be able to call in and leave audio posts throughout the week. Should be really cool. I'll post the address in the days to come, as there is nothing on the page yet, so stay tuned.

I suppose I should apologize for my lack of posts recently. I'm currently thinking about a redesign of the site, as well as going through numerous ideas for additions. I'm also trying to figure out the easiest way to consolidate my pics from iPhoto, my calendars from iCal, all into a web site through .Mac, without losing the Blog functionality. We'll see what happens.

Oh yea, that was awesome...gonna watch it again!

Woohoo...it's on!!! Stargate SG-1 season premiere. That's right, a 2 hour premiere and new episodes all summer!

My reason to live is back...ok, maybe that last part is a little excentric.

11:31am - Realize I've forgotten to set VCR to record Cowboy Bebop
11:35am - Commence Cameron bashing in Gameboy Advance head-to-head competition
12:00pm - Throw Cameron from vehicle
3:30pm - Arrive at Woodfield Mall
3:40pm - Get giant pretzel from Auntie Anne's
3:45pm - Stand inconspicuously outside of Victoria's Secret while eating pretzel
4:00pm - Play video games at KB Toys
4:30pm - Commence raid on Apple Store
4:35pm - Police chase down I-90
5:30pm - Arrive at Willow Creek
5:45pm - Gawk at Willow Creek soundbooth
6:00pm - Try to hitch a ride on the Willow Creek plane
9:15pm - Head home (probably not on plane)
1:00am - Return home

I've been reading A LOT of web comics lately, mostly PvP, found over at www.pvponline.com...you should all check it out.

After reading these, it's given me a really cool idea that I hope to get underway. You probably won't see anything for a few months, and the plan "launch date" is 2004. We'll see what happens.

It appears everything is working again. Not really sure what the deal was, but I could only get the blog portion to update.

All seems ok now, hopefully I'll get more of the pages going now.

I've been experiencing technical difficulties with Blogger. They are in the process of upgrading some stuff, so HOPEFULLY it will all clear up on it's own.
